You can take a cool bath or squeeze on some aloe vera gel in an effort to cool your scorched skin. Standing naked with your freezer door open will probably feel good, too. Apply the wet washcloth to sunburned areas. When the washcloth begins to feel dry or loses its coolness, soak it in the solution again and re-apply. Rinse with cool water. Repeat the process about every four hours for as long as the pain and redness persist.
