Krestiansky Kefir

A staple in European diets, Kefir is widely consumed and well loved through most of the region. It is one of the oldest cultured milk products in existence and enjoys wide popularity throughout.  For example, various reports state that kefir accounts for between 65% and 80% of total fermented milk sales in Russia.  For these reasons we’re keeping the taste and style of old world Kefir alive in Lifeway’s ethnic line of products. From Ryazhenka to Bazarny Kefir, they are a variety of Plain Kefirs made in distinct ways that our European customers are familiar with and can easily enjoy; giving them a little of the old country in their new life. As with all Lifeway Products, this kefir is made with milk from grass fed cows that is free of rBGH (Bovine Growth Hormones) and antibiotics.
